Aassim's milestones

Okay, I hear you, guys. A resounding 50 percent of you want more posts on Aassim But I was too busy with office workload, too busy i can't even explain lol. We're constantly overwhelmed with love for our little man. Don't you just want to eat up those fat cheeks? hehe atleast I did :p

We already started solids a few weeks ago and what a big eater this guy lah. It has been an interesting experience, to say the least. Mata mengantuk dah pejam2, tapi mulut still nganga everytime dengar orang sebut 'aaaaaaaammm' HAHA. Preparing meals for baby is so much fun. That has kept me pretty busy around here.

Nope, Mommy's fat cheeks are not for eaten. Sorry :p tee hee

I must say that six months is the best age ever (so far). He's been chasing me all around the house (in baby's walker), pre-crawling under coffee table, eating mommy's new mags, made me sings Barney songs everywhere, prefer carrots than broccoli gahhhh too many to list. But, Parenthood really is the most fun!

this fella is so smart for knowing how to woo his parents. :)

All I need is right here. Moments like this make my heart just swell :)

Last entry for the year...

Alhamdulillah, 2011 has been a really eventful year for me and hubby. It's the year we were blessed with a beautiful and perfect in every way possible baby boy named Aassim Nayyif. Aassim's arrival in July complete us, complete me personally :) I became a mother and my life really has not been the same since. Hehe.

This year so far has been fantastic. Aassim is a delight. I've said this before, but I can't get enough of him. He gets sweeter and bigger everyday! Next year gonna be more about him hence the new blog header :p

Anyway, may we be as healthy and blessed next year. Happy 2012 everyone :). May the new year be a great one for you and your family.

He made me sing all the way in the car to Ibu's house (babysitter) otherwise dia start enjin, memang aku gelabah tang tu jugak. No, he's not a cry baby, but sometimes he's do got mad voice-throwing skills. Memanglah boleh pengsan mendengarnya.

And when he do that, yours truly gonna turn to Momzillas. But normal la kan the joy of every first time mothers, sometimes we terover react hahaha. Glad hubby was always around :).

Aassim 4 months update

Aassim is 4 months old now! And he seems to be on track with his development. Here's a few of his recent milestones:

• Grab, suck..Grab, suck (Everything!) - grabbing objects a lot more and of course, most of them now end up in his mouth.
• Holding own bottle - He's been "holding" his bottle for awhile now but always with the help of me
• Upgraded to 6 month outfits - This kid is a serious chunker and couldn't be happier about it!
• Thinks Mommy's voice is hilarious T_____T - If only I knew what he was thinking when he laughs at me. Sabar jelah.
• Keep rolling rolling rolling - Definitely a champ! But a couple times, during nap, still swaddled! Scary, I tell you.
• Thrown up all over me - Ah, the joys of mommyhood. Doing laundry for a thick, projectile milk waterfall are NOT FUN AT ALL

Wordless Wednesday

A reminder to myself

It's true that looks can be deceiving. You can't judge a book by its cover. But I also thought that innocent-looking people or people who are always judged positively, are really nice or OKAY, problem-free-sorta people, but I was definitely wrong. Not all are like that but only a few, and they are hard to find.

From my experience, it's the people who are often judged negatively, are the nicest and most thoughtful people. That's why we must choose our friends, bestfriends and partners carefully. Contoh macam nawal cakap ' yaya, kau dipersila kuruskan badan. Nak empire dress free tak?' hahahahaha

But then again, it's no fun to play safe all the time. It's always good to experience some hardship. Tak gitu kengkawan?
